To be drawn out just so

I was driving back to work and munching on fries when I started singing along to some old pop song and tapping my fingers to the beat and I felt so carefree all of a sudden. It just felt good to be coasting down the road without being overly reckless you know. And it got me thinking, why the heck do people drive in a hurry like maniacs when the moment to be savoured is right now at your feet? What are you going to do with that 60 seconds that you save from swooping into someone's lane? Are you going to spend that sliver of time with someone really important or are you doing it because you're in such a perpetual hurry that you won't ease off the gas? Most people don't like being stuck in a jam, I'm one of them. But I realised that instead of being pissed off because you're in a situation over which you no longer have control, why not make the best out of the time and put yourself in a better mood?

Something else that bothers me is that Malaysian drivers can't seem to spare 3 seconds to show their thanks when someone gives way to them. Ever since I got back from UK, I normally gesture my thanks unless the other driver does some horrible breach of driving ettiquette. I'll admit that when I drive alone in the car, I can be very vocal with regards to my fellow drivers but I never ever give someone the finger. That I can honestly say. Oh, and I talk to myself and sing out loud to every song that I know on the radio as well. Hehe. There's nothing like singing at the top of your lungs no matter how off-key to make yourself feel better. =P

Anyway, I finally saw The Mummy 3 and it was kinda disappointing. Sigh. I was crossing my fingers and hoping very hard that it'd be good okay. Or at the very least, that Alex O' Connell would be cuter than he was in The Mummy Returns. Blah. Disappointed on both counts. Three, if you consider the fact that Rachel Weisz didn't reappear in this show.

I was in 1U last week and saw this trench coat in Zara but didn't have time to try it on. 3 days later, I went back there with my mum to check it out and my size sudah tak ada!!! Only left size M and above in 3 colours, light brown, dark brown and black. Grrr! And it costs RM269. I was so tempted, but I figured I can get something a little cheaper online back in UK. Oh and I saw this silver coat in Forever 21 which is kinda thin and its RM250 and I didn't buy it cuz I thought it was a bit pricey. But Robyn and Clareen thinks its very nice so I'm still thinking if I should get it or not. I'm putting up the pic so tell me whether you think its nice or not, okay?
Whaddaya think? I dunno about silver, its something unusual but I really like the British-style trench coat. For practicality's sake I'd probably get a beige coloured one cuz white is pristinely beautiful but it ain't gonna be very pristine after awhile. I was thinking of getting single-breasted trench coats since my winter coat is a dark blue double-breasted but somehow I think double-breasted coats make you look slimmer. =P I found a whole lot of gorgeous trench coat pictures online but somehow I can't upload them. Some help anyone? They're beautifully expensive as well though. I may have to rob a bank just to afford one of them. :(

Last but not least, Robyn's belated b'day outing where we watched The Mummy 3, ate Korean BBQ and headed to Chili's for chips and dessert and good chickadee chats. :)
The usual picture, but this time in WH's changing room where I brought in 5 pieces and walked out with none to the silent chagrin of me and the sales assistant.

p/s : Does anyone else remember the WH changing room incident? So embarassing. Hehe.
