In the heat of summer sunshine
So I finished exams 8 days ago. Been too busy shopping, eating, chilling out and packing to blog. Summertime is here, exams are over and its time to party baby! Sadly I passed up clubbing to go play hearts and snooker instead. All the well-planned plans like clubbing, drinking nights, movie marathons, cookouts and poker sessions all came to nothing because everyone was busy and leaving really fast. =( But, summertime is here and the weather is nice and sunny (at times its a bit too warm like M'sia, tbh I'm rather dreading going home to the tropical humid climate.) and the sunsets at like 9.30pm and rises at 3.30am so I have loads of light!!! My room table and shelf looks like a major disaster area eventhough I'm supposed to be done packing. Note the word supposed. Went shopping in Birm & town and got myself summery things and finally bought a pair of comfy flats that I can walk around in pale ballet pink. =) Due for more shopping today at Bicester Village outlet. I've a feeling I'll either survive intact without buying or be horrendrously hit by purchases especially since summer sales is starting. I need to get a move on, my train's at 11.25am and I still need to run some errands. Can you believe it, I popped 3 buttons off my jacket in 2 weeks. That's how fat I've gotten. =PLeaving tomorrow for London for a couple of days and than its Eurotrip Round 2 on Monday, this time to Venice and Paris with the housemates who already left yesterday for Rome and Florence. The house is pleasantly quiet. Okay the silence is a bit weird at times but I always have some form of company and sometimes, its nice to have the house to yourself. =)
