Obssession
Things I have been obssessed with doing since I came to UK:
1. Checking the weather - wake up, check the weather. Deciding what to wear before I go out, I check the weather. When I'm outside, I check the weather. About to sleep, I check the weather for the next day eventhough I know that when I wake up, I will..........check the weather!
2. Looking at sales or discount websites and going Ooooh that's a really good deal.....and clicking the little red box after realising that I don't need it, delivery isn't free, the place is too far etc.
3. Google mapping - eventhough I know how to find my way to a destination, I get a kick out of finding out how long it will take me and trying to look for the most efficient way on Google maps.
4. Going to superbig Tesco/Sainsbury/any supermarket and comparing prices. I get excited when I see toilet rolls on sale and I sweep the last pack!
5. Checking mail - mostly thanks to the Iphone. Not so good is that sometimes I don't reply longish mails (anything that requires more than 2-3 lines of text) and I end up forgetting to reply them.
I think I only blog when I need to kill a short period of time (i.e. not worth starting a drama episode/reading cases/articles/doing work/doing all the other more urgent stuff on my to do list), like right now I'm killing time till I have to go to Bond Street to have lunch at Nagomi and pick up things from House of Fraser before class and dance practice.
Accuweather and Google maps, here I come!
