A day in Bangsar
1:20 PM
A day in Bangsar

Decided to go to Bangsar with Clareen after class to shop for my mum's birthday present.

At 2pm, it was raining cats and dogs.

Damn!

Contemplated staying in college till 4pm than going home.
But after a while, the rain stopped so we decided to go. =)

I finally ate banana leaf rice for the first time. And the helpings were so enormous that I couldn't finish them. I felt a little guilty cause there was so much leftovers on my banana leaf.
And there are starving children in Africa who have no food....

Clareen and I went to a large bookshop called 'Cziplee' that sold loads of stationary stuff. She looked like a miser that found a pot of gold and I practically had to drag her out of the shop. =p

Went to Bangsar Village to shop and I saw this gun in 'Toys R Us' that shot out sponge balls. Was tempted to buy that for my bro as a belated b'day present. The saleslady even opened up the packaging and let me test it out. I ended up being target practice and got shot at by Clareen as I wanted to check how painful the the 'bullets' were. The salespeople were laughing at both of us. And after we left they were playing with the gun themselves.

Decided not to buy the gun as it was rather difficult to pull back the mechanism to shoot, cause you need quite a lot of strength to compress the spring and air.

Walked around the area for a bit and managed to buy a gift for my mum.

When Clareen and I finally decided to catch a cab back to HELP, our classmate Ee Wei saw us at the cabstand and honked at us. By the time we spotted his car and crossed the road to enter his car, the traffic lights were green and people behind him were honking at us.

So malu!

But thanks anyway, Ee Wei.

Came home and decided to skip dinner cause I'm still stuffed like a Christmas turkey. And surprisingly, I didn't get scolded/lectured for skipping it.

p/s : Clareen, I told you I wasn't lying about dinner.

Btw, Robyn, if you're reading this, GOOD LUCK for your SATS on Saturday!
