Libraries & their old, fussy, grumpy-looking guardians

I finally got my curry laksa today at the Rice Bowl!
And I got 2 more people to agree with me that the curry laksa there is delicious. Yay!

I haven't eaten curry laksa there for months due to my lack of lunch breaks.
Even when I skipped Math on Monday and went there with Wai Ee, it was too early in the morning and they didn't have my curry laksa. =(

The pure joy of savouring each spoonful of 'kuey tiao' with the spicy savoury curry soup.

Oooh...
Makes me wanna eat another bowl of it right now.

Yes people, that's how bad my craving for curry laksa is, especially when I've been deprived of it for aeons.

Recently, I realised that I've been going to the library much more in the past 1 month than in the previous 9 months of A-Levels. I've even borrowed some books home too.
And no, I'm not morphing into a nerd/study-freak yet.

All in all, the library isn't too bad a place. Its good for studying and doing homework, you can browse through their numerous shelves of books, chit-chat with your friends discreetly, and if you're really bored, you can even use their computers or catch a snooze.

Anyway, Clareen and I were in the library after lunch and Bernice joined us later. And we ended up talking away instead of working. We were talking so much and so loudly till the librarian came over to our corner to "shush" us. We were definitely more discreet after that. I mean, if the grumpy-looking fussy old fella can hear us, who's to say which student nearby might have overheard us. *gasps in horror of being overheard*

Thank God tomorrow's Friday.

And Wai Ee, please don't rub my face into the pavement. ;)

p/s : The librarians aren't as bad as I made them sound. They can actually be quite nice.
