The B-word

This is another reason why kids make you crack up just like that.

Bro : I got backache. Let me go toilet first. *runs out to the bathroom*
Me : Huh? Got backache but go toilet? *puzzled*

I thought he might have fell down or gotten pushed and somehow hurt his back. Later on...

Me : Can you point to me which part of your back hurts?
Bro : Okay *lifts up his shirt and touches his tummy*. This is where I got backache.
Me : Do you know which part of your body are you touching?
Bro : Yeah...that's my back what.
Me : Let me show you something. This is your back *touches his back*. And this is your belly *touches his belly*. So just now did you have a backache or a bellyache?
Bro : Oh...then just now I had bellyache not backache.

I simply cracked up when he walked away. Hahahaha!
I don't see the connection between belly and back. Other than the fact that they both start with 'b' and they are below your neck.

I could have sworn his Science book had pictures showing the difference between his belly and his back. But then again, you wonder what they teach kids nowadays in school. =p
