Malaysian customs

My daddy is back from China. Yay!

Which means no more driving his big-ass car to college. Haha...
Now's my mum's turn to run off to KL for some teacher course thing.
One come back, one go off. Hmmpph!
Looks like me and my lil bro are the only peeps left who actually stay at home. Hehe.
Anyway, look what my dad bought. Looks cute enough for RM3.50 lah!
Its the thingy where you rest you hand on while using the mouse. They come in different animals - dragon, tiger, ram, monkey, frog, mouse etc. The guy insisted on selling 24 pieces for RM3.50 each but my dad said he needed samples for his clients to see (which is an obvious cocked-up story) so the guy sold him a dozen instead.
Sis, I bagged a rabbit for you as Daniel already took the dog-looking tiger which he has already spoiled because he poked it too hard and the gellish juice oozed out. Hehe.
On my last trip to China, I came back with 25 DVD's out of which 4 couldn't play. My dad tested them again on his hotel's DVD player and it worked! Dang, my home DVD player must be too sensitive for this pirated stuff. =(
My dad got stopped at Customs and a Customs officer took the 'V for Vendetta' DVD. But, the DVD he took can't play on my player so I'm not so pissed. I hope it doesn't work on his DVD player. Serves him right then. I think the last time round, the officer took the 'Cars' DVD. If he takes 1 DVD back for his kid to watch from every passenger, he doesn't have to patronize the pasar malam DVD stalls anymore. And he gets paid to take his own 'private tax'!
The customs officer had the cheek to take this leather-ish pouch (the kind where you put toiletries and stuff) which my dad bought. I mean, if you take a DVD, its pissing off but its just a few bucks so its not so bad. But taking the leather-ish pouch? I think that's going a bit too far, even by Malaysian standards.
Bloody thieving customs officer!!!
Normally, when my dad goes group golfing to China, customs usually check their luggage for stuff (probably because they know that the passengers will have China products so they want good pickings) and will ask when flipping through the DVD's whether its porn or not.
Aiyoh, want to buy porn need to fly all the way to China to buy meh? Petaling Street also got sell lar!
Anyway, many people got stopped at customs so they were probably tipped-off that it was a China flight. When travelling as a family back from China, we never had problems with Customs. Hehe.
I wanna go shopping in China again!
