On the first day

First day of college and I'm late for the first class of the term.
What a great beginning. =p

Have I bitched talked about my oh-so-wonderful-perfectly-made-by-a-genius timetable to you?

Even if I have, I'm still gonna whine and complain about it here anyway. =p

Monday : Class from 12-4. I hate classes that don't start at 8 or 10 cause I'd still have to come early and waste my time unless I take public transport which I don't really like doing.

Tuesday : Class from 8-4 with a break at 10-12. Law lectures are always the first class of the day which is why I sleep a lot in law. Can't really complain about Tuesdays except that I'd rather have 3 back-to-back classes and go home earlier.

Wednesday : This is the crap of all crappy days. One miserable class at 12-2. I need at least an hour and a half to travel to and fro to college via public transport and I have to endure the nuisance of fighting with the masses just for a 2 hour class??? If you must torture me with a single class, at least give me an 8-10 where I can go home early and continue my love affair with my bed. *sigh* I think I'll end up skipping a few econs classes on Wednesdays for this term.

Thursday : Thursday and Wednesday both compete for the crappiest suckiest ultimate killer position for the coveted title 'Most Hated Day of the Week'. Classes from 8-6 (yes, you read correctly. its 8-6) with a break at 2-4. Damn it, I can deal with 4 back-to-back classes so will you just take away that break and shove that tutorial right smack at 2pm so I can go back at 4 instead of fighting with every Ah Mat, Ah Beng and Ah Lee for the public transport at 6pm where every working person wants to go home?!

I hate Thursdays...I hate Thursdays...I hate Thursdays *chants vehemently*
I think those 3 words have become my mantra and Thursday hasn't even come yet.

Must start thinking positive.
I love Thursdays...I love Thursdays...I love Thursdays *struggles to mutter out the words*

This isn't working. My lips just can't lie and say I love Thursday when my brain violently screams that it loathes and absolutely dislikes Thursday.

Friday : Class from 8-12. A bit upset at not having free Fridays anymore. If you have 1 class on Friday, it means you gotta come all the way to college for a single class. And if you have 2 classes, it means you gotta wake up early. I guess I'm too used to having Fridays off where I can joyfully shout out loud from the rooftop, "Thank God It's Friday!!!"

Conclusion : Everyday practically sucks except for Tuesday which is bearable. Give me my 1st term schedule where I didn't have single classes on a day. Or give me last term's schedule where I had 3 back-to-back classes everyday with Friday off. I can handle 4 back-to-back classes if necessary. Just don't give me only one class a day that starts right smack in the afternoon and don't make me stay past 4.

Oh Lord, I can't believe I actually complained about 1st and 2nd term's timetable when they're actually fantastic and great timetables. Will You pretty pretty please with a cherry on top give them back to me? *moans and pleads*

I guess you don't learn to appreciate the good stuff you had until you get stuck with the lousy rotting stuff.
