Softie knighties

Decided to go to the Ship for dinner after church because I haven't eaten their garlic bread for like...a gazillion years? *dreams of warm toasty garlic bread*

My family has this thing for garlic bread. Each time we go to a Western restaurent, there's bound to be an order for garlic bread and we'll compare it to the Ship's garlic bread. Inevitably, the Ship wins hands down. So far, I haven't found one close to it.

Same goes for mushroom soup. I have no particular favourite, but some of the pretty good ones would be the one at the Boathouse in TTDI, Pan & Wok in Malacca, Pizza Hut and a few others. The list is pretty long though.

As for seafood bisque, my current personal favourite is San Francisco Steakhouse. Haven't found any other restaurent that serves it the way I like it.

I wish I could combine different dishes from various restaurents into a single meal.

For example, I'd love to have the Ship's garlic bread or Tony Roma's potato skins and San Francisco's seafood bisque for appetizers, I wouldn't mind the Wagyu beef from The Courtyard Garden or the spinach & artichokes formaggio thing from Italiannies and for dessert, there's this cake called 'Death by Chocolate' and they used to serve lovely bread-and-butter pudding in The Courtyard Garden. I wouldn't mind the chocolate mousse from Shangri-La's Lemon Garden either.

Sounds delicious doesn't it?
But the calories intake level would be sky high. Uh-oh...

Mind you, this is only a brief list of what I'd love to eat.
In fact, I'm barely skimming the surface. =p

Lately, I noticed that I've been blogging a lot about food. Hmmm...I wonder what it means *frowns in puzzlement*

Wait, I know!
I'm turning into a food-o-maniac!!!

Oh, no...help me!!!
I'm turning into a food obsessed calorie counter who can't stop eating. *screams and tears hair out*

Help! *sends out distress call to the heroes out there*

5 mins : Waiting and looking pretty for the "hero" who's coming to save the damsel in distress (me).

15 mins : Hmm...maybe he's on his way here and got lost and refuse to stop and ask for directions. *typical male, rather get detoured for 15 mins instead of being humble and asking for directions and making me wait instead*

30 mins : Did I send out the S-O-S signal correctly? *wracks brain trying to figure this out*

45 mins : Bloody knight in shining armour is not coming. *Censored*

A tear silently rolls down my cheek and I give a lady-like sniffle.
Then, the tear becomes two tears and soon it becomes a torrential tearstorm, with very unbecoming bawls and howls. Leaving me with rambutan red eyes and undignified hiccups.
So much for a damsel in distress trying to be prettily upset and distressed. Hehe.

I shall stop dramatizing here because no one's responding. *pouts sulkily*

I shall blame all you knights in shining amour who were supposed to come and help me out. You must have already been tucked into your warm beds with your teddybears and refuse to get out of bed to come and heroically rescue me upon hearing my distress call.

Softies!!!

Hmmph!
