My parents went for dim sum without me because I jokingly muttered that I didn't want breakfast while I was still in bed. 20 minutes later, I'm walking to the bathroom and my brother suddenly says goodbye to me as they're going out to makan.

Alamak!
And I was the one who wanted to eat dim sum yesterday somemore.

Missed my fav meal of the day. Boo-hoo.

Bummed around before deciding to study some econs. After an hour or so, plopped onto my parents bed and read the comics while watching my bro play 'horse and fighting' with my dad. Needless to say, my dad ended up the horse and my bro was the knight with the sword who went off fighting monsters. As for me and my mum, we ended up being 2 cows who read newspapers.

And to avoid becoming his horse, I quickly told my bro, "Cows only can read newspaper and eat grass. Cannot carry people around." Hehe.

Managed to finish reading econs before going out with my mum at 5-ish to 1u to shop for presents and eat dinner as my dad had to attend his staff's wedding dinner.

Walked around and bought a Scrabble set for my cousins. Then we went to Bodyshop to get something for my dad. And we ended up getting him this orange flavoured body butter and shower gel set.

My bro likes the orange smell so much that he has already claimed that as 'his' present. Lol. The gift is supposed to be for my dad and he has already decided that my dad will use the shower gel while he gets to use the body butter.

He's only 7 and he's already picking out his flavours from Bodyshop. He's definitely more advanced than me. At that age, I don't seem to recall my mum asking me which flavour smells better.

Hunted around for a restaurant to eat dinner and we finally settled on Ms. Read. I've been wanting to try their main meals for ages. I can definitely say that service there is S-L-O-W. With a capital S. But the food's pretty decent and the desserts look quite yummy. I shall go back there and try their bread and butter pudding one day.

Between the 3 of us, we had appetizers, dessert, main, than leftover appetizers and dessert. In that order. Hehe. I was cracking up all the way at my brother's dining antics.

Throughout the 4 hour shopping trip I was constantly plagued with guilt, as I haven't even started on my Econs homework that was due on Saturday afternoon. And now, I utterly feel like such a downright irresponsible student. I just hope my dear Econs lecturer isn't hopping mad at me.

Looks like I have to burn the midnight oil to finish the questions by tonight. =(

Oh well, I had a nice dinner and 2 Christmas presents off the list for that 4 hours.

Must get the rest of the gifts before Christmas Day. Which leaves me with 21 days only. And I'm clueless about what to buy.

Anybody wants to come Christmas shopping with me?
