Monday blues and Hell

Monday blues and Hell

Normally on Mondays, at the very least, there will be a tinge of Monday blues.

Are you asking me why? *incredulous stare*

Obviously because I didn't have enough time to rest & recuperate throughout the weekend and that's why I have Monday blues la.

Doink. *knocks some sense into your skull*

Today?

Today was different. Definitely not a true-y, blue-y Monday. =]

The excerpt below was taken from
nEutral and edited.
Thanks Wai Ee. ;)

At lunch with Sook, Wai Ee, Yang & Andrew:

Yang: Siew Yen, what do you think hell looks like?
Me: I don't know.
Yang: Just visualize lah.
Me: Lots of fire I guess.
Yang: Is hell wide or narrow?
Me: How I know?
Yang: I asking you to visualize mar. Be prepared.
Me: Yeah, I'll be prepared to see you there.

More chat about what I visualize hell as. Then somehow, heaven comes in a little.

Andrew: Who started heaven and hell ah?
Wai Ee: Yang.
Andrew: ... I mean, who created heaven and hell...
Yang: *laughs* I created heaven and hell... I'm God!
Me: Well then, excuse me if I don't pray.

Hehe. Wasn't that a good one?

And Wai Ee, thank you, I know it was a nice one. Haha.

After all, it isn't everyday that I get to sit down with you people for lunch and chat leisurely. Getting in those nice comebacks were an added bonus!

Honestly speaking, the "praying" comeback came out of my mouth before I realised it. I guess my "comeback mode" was on autopilot. *grins smugly*

In accounts class, Amery, Clareen and I went in late because we were busy chatting in the ping-pong room with Wai Ee & Sook about tv shows ranging from Clareen's "America's Next Top Model" to my "Healing Hands 3". Speaking of which, tonight's episode was so nice, one of my favourite characters finally got together with the person that he likes.

Whee!

And some of the things they said also struck a chord in my mind.

Anyway, the 3 of us plus Ai Kheng plus Simone & William were sitting right at the back and we were laughing and talking away in accounts till our lecturer looked at us and said, "Can you all stop talking and start doing your work?" *accompanied by her stare"

Uh-oh...

Immediate silence reigned after that except for a few muffled giggles, till she got up and walked to the front of the classroom.

Than it was back to the crapping and laughing, in more subdued tones so she wouldn't have to come back and give us a 2nd demonstration of her stare.

So, no Monday blues today thanks to my bunch of dear crazy friends.

Conclusion :

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, crazy friends on Monday keeps the blues away!
