Lost & Found

Yesterday...

Kicked up a fuss because my mum cleared and wiped my studyroom cupboards with my maid. I dislike it when anyone else clears my things without me there because later on, I can't find the items that I urgently need. Plus, they can never arrange everything back 100% in the same way that it was.

Decided to do some C3 Math work. After frantically rummaging through my cupboard, bag and table, I couldn't find my Math book.

I went, "Shit, did I leave it in the DSA, in class, at the library, in the taxi, at McD's or did one of my friends accidentally take it home?"

I had a sneaking suspicion it was somewhere in my study room because I don't think I left it outside as I stopped carrying things in my hands after my file kept disappearing during the 1st term. But, it was too late to wake my mum up and ask her if she saw my book.

Fell asleep at my study table trying to do Econs homework and figuring out where I left the book.

Today...

Went to college early so I could go to the "Lost & Found", the library and all those places that I thought I might have left it at. Asked and msged all my friends who were with me on Monday if they took my book. All of them said nope, they didn't take it.

I thought to myself,

"Die la! Nobody turned it in, and all my friends said they didn't take it. Takkanlah somebody really stole the book which I left in DSA while at lunch? But if really someone stole it, why steal my C3 book out of the piles of books there? Unless the fella got C3 Math class and forgot to bring his book...Or did I leave it in the taxi or at McD's? Shit la. Monday's my mock and I can't find my book. This time sure screwed already la."

Math class today was a total failure.

Out of desperation, I went to the library to see if I could borrow a C3 Math book to study for the mock. Damn. Got C1, C2, C4, but no C3!

"Oh Lord, is this my punishment for skipping Math class on Monday? I can't find my Math book which has my notes and homework and now I can't even borrow one from the library."

Help!!!

I need a kiss to uplift me out of my bad day doldrums.

Hershey's Kisses, I mean. =p

On the way home I remembered that my mum cleared my cupboards. I said it was probably her fault that I couldn't find the book as she might have placed my book somewhere else, because this sort of incident has happened before. And to make me swallow back my words, she went through the cupboards with me to prove that the book wasn't there.

As you can guess, the book was there!

I found it squashed between 2 files. I didn't check the file cupboard earlier on because when I kicked up a huge fuss yesterday, she strongly insisted that she put everything back in apple-pie order. And she was so insistent that I actually believed her!

Hehe. She ended up taking back her words instead.
And the blame fell on the maid too.

I think most of the fault was on the maid, because my mum is usually more careful about clearing my things out.

Anyway, I have my C3 book back. *hugs the book*

All that stress I went through for you, O "beloved" C3, don't ever leave me. At least, not till the results come out and I'm sure that I don't have to retake C3. After that, you can run off with your new beloved (whoever it is) and I couldn't really care less. =p

What was lost was now found. Yay!

I still need more Hershey's Kisses though.
I only have 1 more left in the fridge. =(
