Perfect waffle squares

Perfect waffle squares

Today after classes, Clareen and I went to A & W to grab a bite before dinner. And I got my rootbeer float, curly fries and my beloved waffles with butter and syrup.

Ah...yummylicious!!!

This reminds me of those times where the netball team would come here after tournaments and mourn our losses or celebrate our victories. And sometimes after practice in Astaka, we'd catch the train and come here for brunch in our smelly, stinky t-shirt and shorts and muddy shoes.

And of those times where I'd coax my fellow librarians on duty and some other friends to have lunch in A & W. And we'd create excuses on why we were late for duty, horr? Someone would always ask if A & W stood for Air & Water. Haha. And Karl Son would put his butter and syrup carefully into his waffle squares so that they'd make a perfect diagonal triangle of clear golden liquid and yellow creamy substance before eating it. I made him do it once for me as I was too lazy to do it myself and I really enjoyed putting each perfectly made-up waffle square into my mouth and feeling it slide down into my tummy. So Karl Son, when are we going to A & W again? =p

I do miss those times and you along with it. *gets nostalgic and moist-eyed*
