Guess who's back?

Did you all miss me? I bet you all did. =p

This was written on Tuesday the 20th in Malacca (and yes, its gonna be a long one):

So here I am in Malacca, cruelly separated from my darling since Friday night. 5 whole nights of not running my fingers all over your body and making it come to life and respond to me.
Did that totally sound so 'hither, come wither' or what?

Truth be told, that wasn't some tall, dark, handsome, loaded, Ferarri-driving sizzling guy. It was my computer. Haha.

Friday :
I drove back partway to Malacca cause my dad was so sleepy.

Saturday :
Went to Jusco to shop. I just can't stay away from the shopping malls. =p Healthy reunion steamboat lunch instead of the usual array of food like sharkfin soup and fried chicken at my grandma's house. Pigged out and bummed around then headed to my paternal grandma's house for the reunion dinner. Normally, there'll be about 10 dishes or more on the table, but since my grandad passed away last year, my dad told my aunt to cook less. She nearly insisted on cooking at least 8 dishes cause its an auspicious number. Haha. Vege gravy got spilt on my shorts while transporting the food from my aunt's house to my grandma's house. Dang. I sat on the sorely-missed rocking chair at the house as I have a feeling that I won't be comfily rocking myself there for quite a bit. Sigh. I totally love rocking chairs, especially with food or books in my hand. Or a cute kiddy. Bliss...

Sunday :
Gong Xi Fa Cai, Hong Pao Na Lai! Hehe.
Got dressed and all and I wasn't wearing any pink or red. =p Headed to St. Peter's Church for mass and had an interesting sermon related to the pig. *oink oink* Saw a junior librarian from Taman SEA there and also this fairly decent-looking guy who looks like someone in my college and I think he was looking at me. Or at the people in the row behind me. Tee-hee. Met up with the relatives and collected ang pao's. And I got my family to play Scrabble with me too. I was on a winning streak till the last 3 rounds where my score fell due to an error in judgement. Tsk tsk. But I redeemed myself by winning a 1 against 3 game in Grabble. Hehe. Sis, I'm waiting for you to come back to Malaysia and Grab with me so that mum and dad won't say I'm a big bully. Came home and mamak-ed with my dad and younger cousins cause we had itchy mouths. Got hounded by my cousin to play Monopoly with him. For once I was super lucky and kept on getting free cash from the bank. Hehe. Decided to continue the game the next day as it was too late.

Monday :
Got awoken by my cousin who insisted that we finish our Monoply before he went off to Segamat. Sigh, I can't even pig out properly in bed and its CNY! So anyway, he ended up making a bad decision cause he was so desperate for that single piece of property that he swapped 2 pieces for that 1 piece. And no, I didn't cheat him cause technically, the rent for that property he wanted was much higher than the other 2. But what he didn't take into account was that players seldom landed on that property. Hehe. Needless to say, we both started building houses and hotels left and right. He landed on 2 of my property with hotels one after another and the irony was, both properties were separated by 2 spaces in between. He was horrified and dumbstruck and I was bursting over my seams in hysterical laughter. End result, he was totally wiped out and bankrupt. Went to Tesco to shop for groceries. The funny thing is, there's a Tesco in PJ, but everytime we're back in Malacca, we'll go to Tesco to buy things to bring back up to PJ. Normally there's a family dinner on my dad's side on the 2nd night, but it was cancelled this year due to unforseen circumstances so it was kinda boring. Heck, everyone in the house was in bed by 11pm. Me, I watched 'Princess Diaries 2', 'The Taming of the Shrew' and 'Freaky Friday' back to back from 8pm-1am. Yes, I was that desperately bored. =p

Tuesday :
Went to eat my Taiwan noodles but the regular shop wasn't open so we went to the place opposite it. I am so not going back there again if I can help it. Not that it was inedible, but it just wasn't the same and most definately not that good! I can be amazingly finicky and particular about food. My squeaky clean white shorts got stained by the stupid sauce. Dang, I seem to end up with food on my shorts this whole CNY. =p Went home and slept (I woke up really early at 9am, ok!) till lunch. Decided to get some Math homework done as I didn't want my mum to sarcastically say that I brought the book all the way from PJ for show. In the evening I went with my mum to Dataran Pahlawan which is a new shopping mall directly opposite the Mahkota Parade. Its tagged as the Malacca Megamall, but its even smaller than the Curve so calling it the Malacca Megamall might be stretching the publicity line a bit thin. Its a bit like Sungai Wang as they had certain areas which had small stalls and shops but they have very KL brands like Padini concept, Bossini, Bodyglove, Esprit etc. Oh and guess what, people normally buy new clothes to wear for new year but I bought 3 tops and very nearly bought a corduroy pants from Bossini, but they didn't have the size I wanted. Hehe. I'm so going by the Bossini outlet in PJ to check if they have my size. At the Padini concept shop, I just went on grabbing tops and tops and by the time I reached the dressing room, I had an armful of garments. It would have been so embarassing if the saleslady had to make me put some back at the counter in front of everyone. Thankfully, there was only a male sales assistant and he just smiled at me and started counting my tops. As I was trying them on, I thought, "I'd better buy something or the guy will start cursing at me for bringing in 9 tops and not buying a single damn thing!" I decided on 2 tops and handed the rest over to the saleslady with a sweet smile as I was too lazy to go back and put them at their respective shelves. Hehe. Well, that's what they're paid for....Oh and sis, I bought something for you from Bodyglove too. =) I was considering getting this pair of black heels but they didn't have my size. I'm afraid I'll never find my second perfect low black heels like my first one. Shoe, O shoe, wherefort art thou? Hide thyself no longer but return to my loving embrace...

Had dinner and a quick shower and my brother and I got dropped off at my aunt's house where I'm now blogging. I don't think I'll get my usual dose of cendol and curry laksa as my dad will be working tomorrow which means we'll all be stuck at my grandma's place.

This was written on Wednesday the 21st in PJ :

Wednesday :
Missed an Econs class to bum around the telly in Malacca before heading home. The autogate had to be opened manually as there was no electricity. Probably a meter tripped. Stepped foot into the house for my olfactory nerves to be assailed by a smell of a dead corpse + garbage truck. When the meter tripped, the fridge turned off and all the raw food in the freezer went bad. Eeew, yucks! What a homecoming. There's not much of a dinner as today is Ash Wednesday and is supposed to be a day of fasting = no consumption of meat. The first thing I had for breakfast today was bread and 'bak kua' (that flat square pieace of roasted/grilled pork) cause I kinda forgot about the fasting thing. Oops, hehe.

Tomorrow :
Back to college. My accounts class is cancelled and I have a 5 hour break before my tutorial. Should I skip the 4pm tutorial and head home at 11am? I'm so very tempted...

Notable facts :
1. I didn't get all my tummy filled with the usual good food. Sigh.
2. I haven't gambled at all this CNY. I'm being good. Hehe.
3. I'm damn fed-up and lazy of planning outings. Sigh, what's new?
4. I was pretty quiet this CNY, as usual. Diam-diam ubi berisi. =p
5. I haven't played any fireworks this CNY.
6. I just realised this is my last CNY here. Damn!
7. My younger relatives have grown-up to be pretty good-looking. Interested?
8. I didn't manage to finish my Math work. Its the norm.
9. Its past my usual dinner time and I'm starting to get hungry. *tummy growls*

Total summary of CNY : sleep + eat + watch tv + read + shop + collect ang pao's.
