The 1st milestone

The 1st milestone

This is the 100th published post of my blog.

"Happy 100th post, my dear blog!" *confetti showers down and fireworks sparkle*

When I first started this blog, this milestone of a 100 published posts seemed like a mile away. Far, far away from my humble fingers as an insignificant beginner. But today, its a 100 posts old and it feels like I set up my blog just yesterday only.

Ah, how swiftly the sands of time flies.

There were times when it was so frustrating to have to struggle as a newbie with html, having to self-censor certain items as I didn't exactly know who would be reading this and what the consequences of me publishing publicly certain things and oh, the list goes on and on.

But now, blogging has become so automatic to me that when I turn on the computer, after logging on to MSN and checking my e-mail, I straight away open blogger to blog. And it has become such a part of my daily routine that I'll just automatically think, "Oh, I must blog about that!" when something that is happy, interesting, funny, sad or something happens that makes me want to bookmark a particular event or day.

I'd like to thank those who sub-consciously and consciously made me decide to start up this blog, those who helped me when I was a rookie at blogging and html, those of you out there who are reading this now, though I may or may not know you personally or know that you are even reading this, and last but not least, the people who help inspire the creation of my blog posts.

I know that sounded Oscar-ish, but I'm a courteous person who wants to thank others, ok. I hope that I'll be able to keep this blog alive and kicking at least till the next milestone that pops up, which will be my 200th published posts or my blog's 1st birthday, whichever comes first.

My blog's 100th published posts day also coincides with another happy event, Michelle Teoh's 19th birthday. Dear Michelle, happy 19th birthday and may you have a joyous and blessed birthday surrounded by loving family and friends. God bless!
