Catnap

Catnap

I've noticed that I always doze off in my Tuesday's 2-4pm Stats class between 2.45-3.15pm. I don't know why exactly that particular time, but I swear it happens almost every Tuesday.

This is how I start catnapping...
Stage 1: My eyes feel tired and I have to blink furiously to keep my eyes open. Gosh, I hope my lecturer doesn't think that I'm flirting with her.
Stage 2 : I nod off every now and then, not because I'm attentively listening and displaying my comprehension but because I'm so sleepy. My handwriting gets uglier and I make some illegible marks on my paper.
Stage 3 : I cover my face with my hands at every excuse to catch a few seconds of shut-eye.
Stage 4 : My head goes down on to the desk the second that my lecturer isn't looking my way.
Stage 5 : Somehow, I'm suddenly rejuvenated and I pay perfect attention for the rest of the lesson like a model student. Seriously. =)

This catnap thing works wonders for me during Stats. Sometimes it works during Econs and Accounts also when I'm tired. It doesn't work that often for 8am law lectures. Somehow, my catnap keeps on going till the end of class. =p

I wonder why they call it catnap and not dognap or bunnynap. Or chicknap. Maybe its because cats are always stretching and napping, hmmm? Or maybe its cause catnap sounds cooler. Hehe.

Meowww!
